About Milan Chakra Club
Milan Chakra Club is the heartbeat of Garia’s Kamdahari neighborhood, keeping the warm, nostalgic spirit of Kolkata's para culture alive across generations. Its cherished playground and affordable gym serve as a joyful sanctuary where children play, neighbors bond, and life-long friendships are forged. Every autumn, the club truly unites the community through the raw emotion, collective warmth, and shared pride of its iconic Durga Puja. The club’s social work includes health check-up camps, polio drop programmes, donations to relief funds and tree plantation, and its premises also serve as a polling station. Alongside sports and sit-and-draw competitions, the club celebrates the birthdays of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji, Republic Day, Independence Day and Holi, observes its Foundation Day every 20 March, and organises the Sarbojanin Durga Utsav every autumn.
